Your first night, on arrival in Ojén, is in this small gem of hospitality in Andalucía, awarded 9+ for excellence on Booking and Tripadvisor for years. It is run by the Leenen family, Esther and Alex, who came from the Netherlands, where Alex was a renowned chef — on Thursdays he usually treats guests to a delicious dinner. Its exotic indoor pool makes the stay feel like a dream.

Night 2 · Monda
Hotel Castillo de Monda
De La Villeta 6, 29110 Monda, Málaga
A hotel run by a Dutch couple, with 32 comfortable rooms whose decoration and castle atmosphere take you back to medieval times. It also has a fantastic restaurant for dinner and a wellness service with physiotherapist and masseur.

Hotel Altos de Istán

Run for years by the Urbaneja family, this hotel has 26 carefully decorated rooms that turn rest into an art. It has a wonderful indoor pool, spa and wellness treatments, massage and physiotherapist.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Hotel nights
Three nights in village hotels — Ojén, Monda and Istán — in double rooms.
Luggage transfer
Your main luggage travels between hotels, so you walk with only a daypack.
Meals
A picnic for every trekking day is included. Dinners and breakfasts are not included in the price: the hotels serve great food and there are lovely restaurants in each village, so you can choose freely — or, if you prefer everything organised, we can arrange set menus at the hotels or local restaurants for you.
Extra nights
Add an optional fourth night in Ojén at La Posada del Ángel after the last stage.
The trek includes three hotel nights (Ojén, Monda and Istán), with an optional fourth night in Ojén, with luggage transfer and meals available by arrangement.
