THREE DAYS BETWEEN THE WHITE VILLAGES
Discover the mountain side of the Costa del Sol on a three-day circular trek linking Ojén, Monda and Istán. Starting and finishing near Marbella, the journey combines traditional white villages, Mediterranean forests and the landscapes of Sierra Blanca and the Sierra de las Nieves area.
Walk from village to village, with overnight stops in Monda and Istán, before a final mountain day via La Concha and back to Ojén. Each stage has its own character, from chestnut woods and mountain ridges to the Río Verde valley and views across the Mediterranean.
This is a strenuous trek for fit adults with mountain-walking experience, with over 20 kilometres each day and exposed passages on the final stage. Autumn, winter and spring are the intended seasons; summer heat is avoided.
