Climbing La Concha is one of the most rewarding hiking experiences in the Marbella area. The route takes us through beautiful Mediterranean mountain scenery, with rocky trails, impressive ridges and spectacular views over the coastline, the Mediterranean Sea and, on clear days, the mountains of North Africa.
Although La Concha is a popular hiking destination, it is a mountain that should not be underestimated. The route covers nearly 15 kilometres and takes approximately 6–8 hours to complete, requiring a decent level of fitness and a willingness to enjoy a full day in the mountains.
Along the way, some sections involve uneven, rocky terrain and exposed passages that can feel challenging, particularly for those who are uncomfortable with heights.
Despite these challenges, reaching the summit is a wonderful experience. With the support of our professional mountain guides, hikers can enjoy the beauty of La Concha, its remarkable surroundings and the satisfaction of reaching one of Marbella's most iconic summits.
